Jane Mudd

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent, Jane Mudd, said: “I am incredibly proud to support Pride in the Port. It is always a fantastic event, and it is wonderful to see so many people from all walks of life coming together to celebrate.

“Pride embodies the values of acceptance, tolerance, and respect. These are all crucial for a society to function well and are particularly important for a city like Newport, where we have a growing and diverse population.

“I want our communities to be places where everyone can live their lives as themselves, free from fear and harm, and this is what we see every year during Pride in the Port.”
